How it began...

After being poorly bred by a backyard breeder, Stevie was abandoned at a rescue. She was born blind, so her breeder had no reason to sell her. As soon as Stevie's parents became aware of her situation, they immediately offered to foster her. Her eyes were infected, she was skin and bones, and she was diagnosed with congenital glaucoma. Since she never had sight to begin with, the vet decided to remove her eyes to relieve pain.

Slowly, she started to heal from all the trauma she had been through. Her foster parents became more and more attached to her. A decision was made that Stevie would stay as a family member for the rest of her life.

She now lives an adventure-packed life with her pup pals. Stevie has no problems getting around. She embarks on hikes, camping trips, and even helps other foster dogs feel comfortable in her home.

Stevie has shown people that a dog with a disability can live a healthy and happy lifestyle.
